As part of its activities to promote the French and Francophone Language and culture, the French Institute of Cameroon in partnership with the Gacha Cultural Space, the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation and the Alliance Française of Garoua are pleased to welcome an Author in résidence traveling for a period of eight weeks from March 1 to April 30, 2019.
This résidence target francophones authors of youth literature.
The selected author will be in residence in different places:
The Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation; locales in Bangoulap, in the heart of the Bamiléké mountains of Western Cameroon, The French Institute of Cameroon, in its centers of Yaoundé and Douala, The Alliance Française of Garoua.

During his stay, the author would be available to participate at the various activities held by the structures (meetings, writing workshops, public readings …)
At the end of the residency, the author is invited to give a lecture of restitution tot he Gacha Cultural Space, in France, in Paris.
