This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding contributions of Ly Dumas and the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation. Ly Dumas’ vision has led to sustainable solutions to educational, social and environmental challenges. Since its creation in 2002, the Foundation’s activities have significantly improved the well-being of communities, while valuing and respecting local know-how and culture.
This distinction is Cameroon’s second-highest honorary award, recognizing distinguished military or civilian merit to the Cameroonian nation.
