This year’s theme, textiles, showcases crafts, music, littérature…in a very contemporary spirit. In a space that was entirely dedicated to them, the beadwork creations of the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation workshops surprised the many visitors of this week dedicated to design in Germany.
It was also the first time that Igénie Nomba, responsible for the pearl workshops at the foundation was travelling to Europe, to present the objects and pass on to few privileged visitors some of the secrets of this know-how.
